PMCO is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Night Shift near Mazeppa, MN!
Compensation: $30 – $42 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Overnight Shift)

Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our overnight team at our Zumbrota facility. This hands-on role is essential to keeping production running efficiently and safely. Ideal candidates will have a mix of electrical and mechanical expertise, with a background in food manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on processing, production, and utility equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and correct both mechanical and electrical issues to reduce equipment downtime.
- Assist in the setup and installation of new machinery and systems.
- Support and train machine operators in proper use and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and maintenance tasks performed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, food safety requirements, GMPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal safety and sanitation regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training programs including GMP, HACCP, and SQF.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and uphold values centered around safety, quality, and integrity.
- Carry out additional maintenance responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of technical education or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with SAP maintenance tracking is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Solid electrical troubleshooting abilities (e.g., diagnosing motor control issues, replacing motors).
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, solenoid valves, and air cylinder functionality.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
- Experience planning and executing minor piping and vacuum line installations.
- Skilled in pump rebuilds, HVAC, boiler maintenance, and sanitary valve repairs.
- Strong background in preventive maintenance practices and equipment assessments.
- Welding experience (TIG/stick) for both fabrication and equipment repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and troubleshoot control systems.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to pass a written maintenance assessment administered by the Maintenance Manager.
