Overview: We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support facility operations by maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals looking for long-term stability and growth in a well-established environment. Candidates may choose between 1st or 2nd shift based on availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day maintenance tasks, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment such as washers, dryers, boilers, conveyor systems, and steam tunnels.
- Perform both preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and ensure consistent performance.
- Address safety concerns promptly and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Conduct housekeeping both indoors and outdoors as part of regular facility upkeep.
- Manage inventory levels of maintenance tools and parts, and keep accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining or repairing industrial processing equipment, either in a commercial/industrial setting or through military service.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems.
- Physically able to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with boiler operations.
- HVAC system knowledge.
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC, brazing, and cutting).
