PMCO is hiring a Maintenance Technician from the manufacturing industry!
Compensation: $28–$32 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Opportunity Overview:
Join our manufacturing operations as a Maintenance Technician I. In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure smooth daily operations by performing repairs, scheduled maintenance, and system checks across a variety of industrial equipment. We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-focused, and skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, repair, and upkeep of production systems including washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and more
- Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance to avoid downtime
- Execute welding assignments using MIG, TIG, ARC, and brazing/cutting techniques
- Monitor boiler systems, test chemical levels, and make necessary chemical adjustments
- Maintain accurate service logs and manage stock of essential repair materials
- Oversee and inspect work conducted by third-party maintenance contractors
- Address urgent alarms and emergency repair situations promptly and efficiently
- Uphold safety standards and support plant cleanliness through general housekeeping tasks
- Offer mentorship and on-the-job support to fellow technicians at the entry level
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years working with industrial or production machinery
- Comfortable interpreting technical documents like schematics and blueprints in English
- Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with boiler operations and HVAC systems is a plus
- Strong welding skills preferred (MIG, TIG, ARC, brazing, and cutting)
