PMCO is hiring a Plant Manager from the Food & Beverage industry in Monroe, WI!
Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 15% bonus
Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time (24/7 Operation Oversight)
Location: Monroe, WI (Relocation bonus available)
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of a 30-person liquid processing plant, overseeing production, quality, inventory, maintenance, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve production, cost, and quality goals.
- Ensure production capacity aligns with customer demand, making adjustments as needed.
- Manage the plant’s annual budget, tracking performance against financial targets.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Maintain and improve production assets to support operational efficiency.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain product quality and support new product development.
- Lead process improvements and experimental runs to optimize production.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Food Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience: 5-10 years of plant or production management experience, preferably in liquid processing.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with filtration and membrane processing systems.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Operations Management: Knowledge of production processes, operational best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify process improvements and drive solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards for food production.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
