Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple departments, including welding, fabrication, robotic weld, paint, and assembly. This role is responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to delegate tasks effectively and optimize workflow to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities across welding, fabrication, robotic weld, paint, and assembly departments.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards and workplace safety.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to department leads and production staff.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Work closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and mentor employees to build a strong and productive team.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent production delays.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, robotic welding, paint, and assembly processes.
- Excellent leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
