We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a Desktop Support Technician role.Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Typical county systems include a mix of desktops and laptops, and many of the following functions, including but not limited to jail management systems, booking, court records systems, computer aided dispatch, payroll, appraisal district systems, tax and records, financial systems, remote access systems, and other relevant local government systems.Required Skills : Knowledge of the practices, principles, and techniques of computer operations. Skill in the support of computers, in the use of applicable programs and systems, and in troubleshooting information systems. Preferred Skills : User / Account management and creation. Knowledge of computer re-imaging, configuration, and deployment.
