What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Engineer position at PMDT POWER MONITORING AND DIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGY LTD.?
This ideal candidate will partner with Account Executives to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients. Once they discover the client's needs, they will discuss our product's technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote partial discharge detection and power equipment monitoring solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for potential customers.
- Provide expert consultation on PD detection techniques, asset management, and compliance with IEC / IEEE standards .
- Work closely with customers to identify pain points and technical needs , then propose tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, R&D, and product teams to address customer feedback and improve offerings.
- Support distributors and agents by providing technical guidance and sales support .
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, contracts, and pricing negotiations .
