We are sourcing a Data Engineer to work at our client's location in Merrimack, NH.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10 years of experience in developing and solving using Oracle RDBMS development (PL/SQL)
- 3 years of solutioning and coding experience with most of the following:
- AWS Cloud environments (DMS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue with Scala or Python, RDS like Oracle and PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Containerization and Orchestration technologies
- Application web server technologies
- 5 years of solutioning and development with ETL technologies
- 5 years of data modelling on OLTP and data warehouse
- 5 years of experience with Data Warehouse, Reporting, and Analytics platforms like Snowflake preferred
- Strong understanding of API development experience with large-scale, highly available Enterprise-class platforms
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB preferred
- 2 years Java development experience preferred
- 2 years of microservices architecture & development preferred
- Strong experience developing in an Agile team setting (Kanban and/or SCRUM)
- Experience working in a DevOps and CI/CD environment
- AWS certification is a strong plus
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Ability to think out of the box and design end-to-end solutions
- Passionate and intellectually curious to learn new technologies and business areas
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
