About the Role: This seasonal position requires a hardworking individual who can handle physically demanding tasks, work efficiently in small crews, and follow instructions to complete vegetation management tasks. Previous physical labor experience is required, and knowledge of farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply herbicides using a backpack spray system to control noxious weeds.
- Work in various terrains, including rocky, steep, and uneven landscapes.
- Mix and load herbicides in proper amounts for accurate application.
- Work independently and in a small crew to meet daily production goals.
- Follow work orders and instructions to ensure vegetation is managed properly.
- Keep simple but accurate records of herbicide applications.
- Occasionally travel to job sites outside the immediate area as needed.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and possess previous physical labor experience.
