Exemption Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt
General Summary:
Responsible for performing general clean-up and janitorial duties throughout the Resch Center and Resch Expo.
Job Duties:
· Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.
· Responsible for conferring daily with supervisor to receive tasks and priority assignments.
· Performs cleaning and janitorial tasks, as assigned. These would include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and waxing.
· Cleans up spills and biohazard spills to maintain a safe environment for patrons and employees.
· Notes and reports any irregularities or discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
· Performs event set-up and tear-down, as necessary.
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
· Responsible for following, observing, and participating in all Company related safety programs, procedures, and training, as well as reporting potentially unsafe procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Approximately 3 to 6 months of related work experience required to gain a full understanding of custodial operations.
· Must possess physical abilities and endurance to lift and move equipment repeatedly throughout the work shift.
· Must be able to operate a floor buffer, carpet shampoo machine, automatic driving floor scrubber, floor sweeper and other related equipment.
· Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with all levels of company personnel, outside contractors, and sales personnel when discussing clients’ needs and to direct subordinate personnel.
· Full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity to operate custodial equipment.
· Eye-hand coordination to operate custodial equipment.
· Standing, climbing, bending, and walking for extensive periods of time.
· Frequently handles and lifts, carries, or pulls items weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to distinguish and identify colors.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
Other Expectations:
· Frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending, or reaching for extensive periods of time.
· Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and standard office equipment.
· Requires hearing within normal range and eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read communications, reports, and computer terminals.
· Requires working in a fast-paced environment and on occasion, irregular work hours as dictated by schedule of events.
· Requires public contact and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with daily workload and a variety of people.
· Normal work environment includes working indoors at the Complex.
