PMISFBAC Programs offer a unified ecosystem of services designed to support professionals in their career development and transitions. The programs cater to a diverse range of professionals, from those exploring new opportunities to seasoned experts, through initiatives like Career Quest, Mentorship, Next Generation Leaders, Professional Development, and Sustainability Programs. There is a steerco that oversees these programs with a primary focus on developing the next generation of project management professionals.
KEY INFORMATION
- The first three months of this position are probationary. During this time, refrain from publicizing your title for personal benefits. After probation, social media disclosure is permitted.
- The executive leadership panel (CEO, CPO, Strategic Advisors & Board members) reserve the right to reassess and adjust the role based on performance and professionalism.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Communications Manager, you are responsible for developing the overall communications strategy to support the programs internal and external stakeholders. You are responsible for delivering marketing collateral for the program's events milestones in partnership with the chapter Marketing Team ensuring marketing campaigns are executed effectively and in a timely manner.
COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING & LEADERSHIP
● Oversee all the internal and external communications for the programme with a goal of influencing the participants, coaches/mentors to fulfill program related event awareness and engagements.
● Develop communications plan and collateral that aligns with the program’s strategic objective and ensure optimum outcome yearly objectives.
● Strategically develop marketing writeups to influence and engage NGL participants in collaboration with the marketing team to rollout social media and website posts.
● Maintain transparency and trust within the team and with chapter partners.
● Ensure adherence to chapter policies and guidelines.
COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION
● Design and develop write ups / contents for all the presentations and marketing materials.
● Communicate effectively with upper management to secure buy-in and maintain transparency.
● Facilitate discussions to level-set expectations and achieve targeted outputs.
● Partner with the program leads and program manager for preparing and facilitating presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS -
● Promotion Based
○ 6-9 months in a chapter program team, or based on performance evaluations and peer feedback.
● Direct Hire
○ 1-2 years of professional experience as a communications manager or other adjunct roles.
○ Successful completion of interviews with peers, directors, and VPs
COMMITMENT
● Minimum of 4-5 hours per week for a one-year term.
