PMMI, Precision Metal Machining, Inc. is a first class 34,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Carlstadt, NJ.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, use appropriate measuring equipment in order to verify manufacturing is to customer specification.
- Inspect and test product at various stages of the production process while evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability.
- Generates job specific inspection documentation and assembles completed job packet.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Propose and drive improvements to the Quality Management System adhering to policies and procedures.
Qualification/Requirements:
- Manufacturing - Machine Shop Experience
- Thorough Understanding and Ability to Read / Interpret Blueprints
- Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Tooling, Coordination
- Measurement Equipment Comprehension (Calipers, Micrometers, CMM, Optical Comparator, Indicators, ETC…)
- Computer Skills such as Word and Excel a Bonus
- Self-Motivated, Willing to Grow with PMMI
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
