IT Project Manager (Contract)
Under the direction of the Director, Project & IT Portfolio Management and the project-specific Executive Sponsors, the IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all phases and activities for assigned projects. - Take ownership of multiple, concurrent IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, and adherence to scope and budget. Key initiatives include:
- OneDrive Migration: Oversee the migration of drives from on-premises servers to Microsoft OneDrive, enabling enhanced collaboration and the expanded use of Microsoft 365 tools outside the Citrix environment.
- Windows 11 Upgrades: Manage the preparation, configuration, and deployment of new Windows 11 PCs, including application setup, logistics for shipping, and return processing for older devices.
- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks and resource requirements. Create and maintain project schedules and project budget. Track and control progress to achieve completion of projects within time and budget projections.
- Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional groups, executive leadership, and external vendors to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Manage user expectations and work collaboratively across the enterprise.
- Oversee vendor performance, ensuring deliverables meet technical specifications and contractual obligations.
- Leverage strong problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent.
- Design and execute change management plans to maximize user adoption and minimize disruptions. Monitor and address feedback to ensure smooth adoption and high levels of satisfaction among end-users.
- Drive resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs.
- Ensure decisions and outcomes are documented appropriately.
- Communicate project status including risks to all project stakeholders. Serves as the primary contact with user groups and IT systems management.
- Assemble and coordinate resources, schedules, task assignments, project plans. Monitor resource utilization and forecast resource needs.

- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field preferred. PMP certification a plus
- · Proven track record of successfully delivering IT infrastructure projects, such as system migrations, hardware upgrades, and enterprise technology rollouts.
- · 8 years of project management experience. Comfortable with complex project implementations that require the rollout of new or changed tools and processes to a large set of business users.
- · Proven ability to build positive work relationships within all levels of the organization.
- · Demonstrated professional judgment and sound decision-making skills.
- · Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and escalation handling.
- · Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- · Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage time, and complete tasks; ability to get things done independently and collaboratively; ability to stay levelheaded and composed during busy periods.
- · Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- · Quality driven; highly motivated; attention to detail and accuracy.
- · Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and Windows operating systems. Exposure to, and understanding of, a wide variety of information technology systems and services; ability to learn new software quickly required.
