On-site in Cleveland 2 days a week, 1 day remote. Client is flexible on how the schedule is set up, but it will require onsite work.
Our client needs a part-time project manager for a startup developing a medical device that helps hospitals track and prevent drug diversion. The role requires a senior-level professional who can manage multiple vendors, hold people accountable, navigate complex startup dynamics, and drive the project forward.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage the project schedule and task details utilizing project management tools
- Lead the project team - Product Technology, IT, Sales, and the client
- Manage vendors, keeping them accountable and on track
- Analyze risks and deliverables including resource allocation and realistic timelines
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership and team members to document critical path milestones, issues, and risks
- Provide status and reporting to Senior Leadership, internal teams, and the client
- Manage stakeholder expectations and changes to the project
- Take an active leadership role in resolving issues, managing conflicts, and making timely decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s level degree
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
- 5-8 years of complex project management experience required
- Extensive Vendor Management experience required
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Healthcare/Clinical industry experience is a plus
- Product Management experience in a Manufacturing environment a plus
