Key Responsibilities :
- Project Leadership : Drive and oversee all phases of the Workday project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure, guaranteeing timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with key stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, define project goals, and ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives.
- Resource Management : Optimize the allocation of resources such as project teams, budgets, and timelines to ensure project milestones are met effectively.
- Risk Assessment : Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues promptly to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Change Management : Craft and execute change management strategies to ensure a seamless transition to Workday systems, coupled with impactful communication and training for all involved parties.
- Quality Control : Uphold high-quality standards for all project deliverables, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and industry best practices.
- Status Reporting : Provide consistent project updates to senior leadership, including progress metrics, status reports, and performance evaluations.
- Vendor Coordination : Collaborate with implementation partners to guarantee that project requirements are fulfilled and contractual commitments are maintained.
- Additional Duties : Undertake other related responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications :
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required. You should possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT project management with a special focus on the implementation and upgrades of Workday systems in Higher Education and Healthcare environments. A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is also mandatory. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of ERP systems, project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and change management processes. Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and navigating complex projects within academic or healthcare settings are essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, enabling you to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Finally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to deliver innovative and practical solutions. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications :
A Master’s degree is preferred, along with additional certifications related to ERP systems.
