What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist- 1st & 2nd Shift position at PMP Personnel Services?
PMP Personnel Services is a fast-growing company. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help grow our business and strengthen our community. We have partnered with a local manufacturer in Petoskey who is actively looking to hire an Experienced CNC Machinist. Applicants must have a clear background and able to pass a drug screen.
The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following tasks...
- Work in a safe manner and report all safety hazards
- Develop and manage new processes for CNC Machining Centers of the following brands, Fadal, Haas, Hyundai, Takumi, and Vision Wide CNC machines
- Prepare CNC programs from drawing using Mastercam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, while creating efficient machining programs with correct tooling and feed rates.
- Operate CNC machines when necessary
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of GD & T fundamentals
- 4yrs minimum experience as a CNC machinist (Technical Certificate desired)
