Occupational Health Specialist (EMT)

PMR Healthcare is looking for an EMT in Sherman, TX to be an Occupational Health Specialist on our client's project site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stabilize injuries by responding to accidents, determining the extent of injuries, and following first aid procedures.
• Send serious injuries to outside medical practitioners by determining the need for additional treatment and calling the ambulance.
• Document first aid actions by completing provided logs.
• Complete documentation specified by PMR and the client.
• Keep PMR provided supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders as needed, and verifying receipt.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, as well as complying with legal regulations.

Hiring Requirements:

• Licensed or certified EMT (National Registry preferred but not required).
• 3 years experience in your field of expertise are preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills preferred (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform duties with little supervision.
• Comfortable multi-tasking, managing your own time, and communicating with the offsite Operations Manager.

Training and Support
PMR employees will receive any necessary site-specific training, ongoing support, and medical direction from PMR Healthcare.
