Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a diverse skill set in industrial electrical systems, HVAC, and field service operations. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the functionality of our equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You must be able to type 40 WPM/ W95% accuracy
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC units and industrial equipment.
- Conduct field service operations, troubleshooting issues on-site to minimize downtime.
- Utilize stick welding techniques for repairs and modifications as needed.
- Operate scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas for installation or maintenance tasks.
- Work with logic controllers to diagnose and resolve control system issues.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial settings.
- Background as an industrial electrician with familiarity in electrical systems.
- Experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Strong field service skills, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency in stick welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in industrial environments.
- Military experience is a plus but not required; candidates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
