As an Innovation Manager you will work within PNC's Intelligent Automation organization. You will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.The Intelligent Automation sits at the intersection of business, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI) to enable PNC’s businesses to transform. We solve the bank’s toughest problems while improving customer and employee experiences. As a Center of Excellence (CoE), we work hand in hand with different line of businesses and their technology teams to identify and help deliver high value business opportunities, maintain and enhance AI technologies and capabilities, and bring new AI technologies into the bank.
As an Innovation Manager you will lead a team of Innovation consultants to keep a pulse on emerging technology and innovative use cases through market research, vendor assessments, and proof of technology. You will work with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Risk and Legal to bring in new technologies.

Job Description
- Leads innovation team to meet organizational needs and to capitalize on potential new product opportunities.
- Develops, manages and implements a portfolio of innovation projects.
- Advises senior management and internal clients to understand the results and implications of innovation initiatives.
- Executes on innovation strategy. May assist senior management in developing innovation strategies and creating a vision that aligns with business strategies, processes and needs.
- Selecting, supervising, training and directing the work of Innovation staff.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8 years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
