Position Overview
As an International Trade Services Analyst Sr. within PNC's International Trade Operations Group, you will be based at PNC's Firstside Building in downtown, Pittsburgh, PA. This role requires in office work for the first 2 months to complete initial training. After this period you may work three days a week and two days remote based on management discretion.In the role, you will process trade client bills primarily for Standby letters of credit transactions. Daily processing volumes vary with high volumes at quarter end. You will process incoming and outgoing payments applications, receive, and send SWIFT messages, conduct bill tracing, and update bill revisions, and complete additional functions related to the applicable Letter of Credit fees. You will also be responsible for creating processing manual spreadsheets and performing manual calculations. You will you communicate to internal partners and customers via emails and sometimes reach out personally. Training provided.
-3 years of accounting related experience.
-Good verbal and written skills.
-Experience with payments is a plus.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
-Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently
-Knowledge of SWIFT is a plus.
Job Description
- Utilizes international trade-specific procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Evaluates and executes basic to moderate transactions. May approve international trade services transactions and processes. May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas.
- Processes basic to moderate trade transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with procedures, rules, guidelines and regulations. Identify exceptions and may address escalated items under supervision. Interacts with internal and external stakeholders in completing transactions.
- Administers trade compliance program against all trade transactions and escalates as necessary in order to mitigate bank risk.
- Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests for basic to moderate international trade products.
- Verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. May review reports to process transactions.
