POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

      Education:            BA/BS

       Experience:         Teaching experience preferred

       Licenses/Other:   Appropriate Texas Certification or such alternatives as may be acceptable

                                       to the district

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

• Oversee the entire strength and conditioning program from 6-12 grade.
• Oversee the  maintenance, organization, and safe use of strength training equipment and facilities.
• Recommend equipment upgrades or repairs as needed with budget constraints.
• Build custom training programs for both male and female athletes for in season and off-season.
• Create metrics to track performance.
• Supervise weight room and training sessions to ensure proper technique, safety, and execution of exercises.
• Provide active instruction and corrections to athletes during workouts.
• Collaborate with athletic trainers to identify and address potential injury risks.
• Education athletes on the importance of strength training, nutrition, and rest for optimal performance.
• Motivate and inspire athletes to push their limits while fostering a positive and disciplined training environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Salary will also include extra days and stipends
