What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Survey Technician position at PNK Group?
Position Summary: PNK Group is rapidly expanding and we’re currently seeking a Construction Survey Technician / Surveyor to join our land construction division. This position involves performing layout and surveying on large construction projects (industrial and warehouse complexes).
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for geodetic control at all stages of earthworks and external engineering networks (HVK).
2. Working with GPS equipment for surveying, monitoring, and adjusting soil movement.
3. Updating digital surfaces and ensuring data accuracy in project documentation
4. Close interaction with the Site Supervisor, providing data on the actual positioning of construction elements.
5. Working in AutoCAD Civil 3D to update project surfaces and prepare data for work planning.
6. Marking of networks, column foundation pits, HVK, and other elements according to project drawings.
7. Calculating the volumes of completed earthworks and submitting data to the reporting system.
8. Ensuring geodetic data matches actual work results.
Conducting instrumental inspections to ensure accuracy in operations performed.
9. Maintaining the technological sequence of work and coordinating with contractors.
10. Collaborating with the Concept Group on adjustments to project solutions and geodetic data updates.
11. On-site localization – creating and maintaining a geodetic network, setting reference points, and verifying project coordinates against the terrain.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and knowledge of digital surface modeling principles.
- Experience working with GPS devices (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, etc.).
- Skills in working with levels and total stations.
- Ability to analyze and adjust earthwork and HVK data.
- Knowledge of construction norms and regulations for earthworks and engineering networks.
- Ability to work with project and as-built documentation.
- Experience in coordination with engineering teams (Concept Group).
- Experience in localizing geodetic data on-site and creating geodetic networks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
