Residential House Cleaner

Overview
As a House Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within residential rental homes. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service will ensure that our clients enjoy a pristine environment. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for clients.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, or polishing various types of flooring.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during each cleaning session.
• Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently while adhering to established schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for optimal use.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.

Skills

• Attention to details ( Spotting missed areas or dirt in corners, and ensuring thorough cleaning of high-touch areas like handles, switches, and remotes ).
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Performing repetitive motions without losing efficiency.
• Sweeping and Mopping: Ability to clean hard floors effectively.
• Dusting: Removing dust from surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Vacuuming: Operating a vacuum cleaner for carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Sanitizing and Disinfecting: Knowledge of using cleaning agents to eliminate germs.
• Window Cleaning: Ensuring streak-free and clean windows and glass surfaces.
• Proven experience in residential cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in hotel settings is a plus.
• Ability to perform custodial duties with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is essential.
• Capability to manage time effectively while multitasking various cleaning responsibilities.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to floor care and specialized cleaning methods.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
