Role Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor’s primary responsibilities are to Supervise and direct all activities for the warehouse, perform the same duties as supervised staff, help others when needed, and work in the freezer as well as outside the freezer. Temperature ranges from -10 degrees F to Ambient temperature. Employees in this position also need to demonstrate leadership in plant wide culture towards Safety, Food Safety, Communication, Quality and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
· All key responsibilities for Cold Storage Forklift driving, Warehouse Lead and Dry Warehouse.
· Ability to perform all duties of the positions being supervised and directed.
· Perform all duties of the positions being supervised and directed.
· Direct subordinate supervisors and workers engaged in all areas of frozen and dry warehousing on all shifts.
· Organize work crews, assign jobs to individual crew members, and train new employees in areas of frozen processing, warehousing, repackaging and shipping.
· Insure accurate and proper completion of company inventory control procedures relating to production, warehousing, shipping and/or use of frozen and dry product.
· Coordinate department activities with supervisors of other departments.
· Ability to learn NAV, RF Scanning, and all other computer programs needed to operate the warehouse and maintain inventory.
· Maintain accurate records as required.
· Ensure a safe working environment.
· Ensure company process and policies are being followed.
· Train and coach employees.
· Issue discipline at the direction of management as needed.
· Other duties as requested including non-forklift driving work as needed.
