Logistics Supervisor - International

Main Function

• The Logistics Supervisor candidate will be responsible for the management of PNY’s 3PL partners. You will ensure that our 3PL partners have and follow the correct processes for them to efficiently exceed our customer demands, while effectively managing cost to achieve business profitability.
• You will be responsible (directly or indirectly) for managing Third Party Logistics partners activities including supplier receipts, inventory accuracy, customer order allocation, fulfillment, and business information related to PNY operations. Frequent travel to the 3PL partners for on-site evaluations and audits required.
• This role requires a solid background in warehouse operations, supply chain logistics, replenishment, strategic planning and WMS systems. The ability to execute at our current scale while simultaneously building capabilities for exponential growth will be critical. Equally vital will be the ability to collaborate and orchestrate work across PNY departments, including Purchasing, Planning, IT, Finance, and others.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ecommerce experience of at least 7 years is required. Understanding of fulfillment operations and small parcel delivery is essential. Must have worked or managed both entities, with a comprehensive understanding of how to manage in a 3PL environment.
• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Logistics, with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Prefer consumer packaged goods experience.
• Experience and enthusiasm in designing, implementing and growing supply chain management systems.
• Experience with ERP/OMS/WMS systems.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to distill insights, present findings clearly and drive action based on data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships and to collaborate effectively across functions and with third parties.
• Experience managing complex projects.
• Experience with an ecommerce business is a big plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage the activities and relationships of PNY’s 3PL partners. Identify gaps (current or future) in their operations capabilities and propose and execute solutions to address them.
• Develop administrative standards and policies for 3PL’s and ensure their compliance.

• Inventory cycle count administration
• Inventory adjustment verification
• Ensure execution of daily processes with a laser focus attention to detail. Manage inventory, troubleshoot problem orders. Address all daily issues with the 3PL’s and follow up with Root Cause analysis until completion.
• On site audit and evaluations.
• Responsible for updating the lost liability from the 3PL.
• Analyze regular reports and KPIs to manage and improve 3PL operations and the overall business. Ensure we generate accurate, timely and valuable data to inform business decision making. Drive initiatives to improve the 3PL operations.
• Evaluate agreements with key fulfillment partners, ensuring consistency with PNY’s standards and needs
• Work closely with finance and IT teams to ensure SOP’s are current, production planning, scheduling and logistics processes are as efficient and scalable as possible.
• Partner with customer experience team to understand consumer problems/needs and to drive initiative to retain, upsell, and improve overall consumer experience.
• Given our entrepreneurial ambitions and the nature of the role, project management and troubleshooting will be important elements of this role.
