Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Property Manager to join our team at POAH Communities. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members and overseeing day-to-day operations.
You will work closely with the Regional Property Supervisor, Senior Vice President and President to execute the financial and operational objectives established by the company and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing properties and teams, with a strong background in operations and turnaround situations.
Key Responsibilities
The Property Manager will be responsible for:
- Executing the financial and operational objectives established by the company.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
- Managing maintenance programs, marketing and leasing activity, occupancy, financial analysis, budget preparations and annual tenant certifications.
- Recruiting, training, motivating and retaining the highest caliber property management staff for all positions within the assigned portfolio.
- Preparing for and attending regular meetings with the property management staff to present detailed reports on portfolio status.
- Completing other tasks assigned by the Regional Property Supervisor, Senior Vice President and President.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in property management, with experience in leading teams and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A strong understanding of financial analysis and budget preparation.
- A proven track record of successfully managing properties and teams.
- Certification as a Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist.
