Patient care is at the heart of everything we do at Pocahontas Center. We are seeking a Healthcare Support Professional to join our team and provide high-quality care and exceptional service to our patients and residents.
About the Role
The Healthcare Support Professional will work closely with our Registered Nurses (RNs) to evaluate patients/residents, collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition. Additionally, this role involves contributing to nursing assessments and care planning, as well as supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Requirements
- You must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure is required.
- BLS/CPR certification is necessary for skilled nursing centers or may be required by the state of practice for assisted living facilities.
