JOB SUMMARY: Pocatello/Chubbuck School District Number 25 is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Physical Security Specialist to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the effective management and maintenance of physical security
infrastructure, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), structured cabling, and CCTV systems. The specialist will also support the network engineer in maintaining a secure and efficient network environment. This position requires a
proactive approach to physical security, technical expertise, and strong organizational skills.

General Responsibilities
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in managing UPS systems, Ethernet cabling, and CCTV systems. Knowledge of structured cabling standards and network infrastructure. Familiarity with CCTV systems and video management software. Basic
understanding of network engineering principles and practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network , BICSI Installer, or similar. Experience working in IT or security operations in an interprise environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position may require lifting heavy equipment, working at heights, and operating in various environments using ladders and climbing stairs. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical tasks and adhering to safety guidelines.
