Pocatello Pet Lodge is a premier pet lodging and daycare facility. We are seeking solid front desk/customer service people. The role is similar to that of a person working at the front desk of a hotel only for pets! It can be a fun job greeting and checking in different pooches & kitties, but it gets busy and we need someone who can handle the pressure.
People who have worked in the following type of jobs may find they have good transferable skills:
Hotel check-in, Hostess/Host at a restaurant, airline ticket agent, styling salon reservation/front-desk, veterinary or medical facility front desk person, or other role that involves greeting people, checking them in and accepting payments.
Ideal Candidate:
· Solid Computer Skills--Data entry, Excel, scheduling database (we’ll train) e-mail and more
· Good at handling more than one task at a time
· Excellent Customer Service Skills including outstanding phone personality and great communication skills
· Professional appearance and demeanor (very important)
· Ability to do a fair amount of bending, stranding, walking (not just sit behind a desk)
· Enjoys working around dogs, able to interact with all breeds
Job Details:
· Part-time: 14-28 hours per week and 7 hours per day
· Days are flexible but likely will work 2-4 days per week including a weekend day
· Shifts: Shift times can start as early as 5:30 a.m. and run as late as 8:00 p.m.
