As a member of the Pochino Italy kitchen team you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation by prepping ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, following food safety guidelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, all while collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver quality food to customers; their primary focus is on supporting the culinary team by performing tasks like chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, making pasta, and cleaning work stations.
Key responsibilities :
- Food preparation : Washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients for various dishes.
- Cooking tasks : Assisting with cooking processes like sautéing, grilling, or frying based on recipes.
- Kitchen sanitation : Maintaining cleanliness of work stations, equipment, and floors, including proper disposal of waste.
- Food safety compliance : Adhering to food handling and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination.
- Inventory management : Stocking ingredients and ensuring proper food storage practices.
