Position Overview
This role centers on collaborating with top-tier storytellers to bring their creative visions to life on Pocket FM across diverse content formats. You’ll work closely with the creative team, writers, data analysts, and producers, blending concepts, research, and data to craft immersive and captivating content. The ideal candidate will combine a deep passion for entertainment and audio storytelling with a strong curiosity for innovation and data, shaping the content strategy and playbook. A Typical Day might include
- Content Strategy: Meaningfully engage with storytellers and explore ideas that can be materialized into top audio shows.
- Content Supervision: Evaluating and assessing the performance of running shows and coordinating with the stakeholders to drive retention.
- Research & Planning: Working on a content pipeline grounded in data and insights derived from internal tools and partner teams.
- Strategy and coordination with the growth team on content marketing to achieve desired growth for the App
- Working closely with the data analytics team, I measure meaningful content performance and make interventions and revisions to achieve the desired goals.
- Managing large teams and defining precise monthly and quarterly goals while helping them to achieve the same.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in the development of original content on television, OTT Entertainment, Films & other media platforms.
- Exceptional communicator - ability to inspire and influence, and dexterity in presenting to large/ diverse audiences. Native or bilingual proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
- Strong relationships in the US creative community, including showrunners, writers, actors, and agents. Experience with international creators is a plus.
- Deep understanding of media trends, audience behavior, and market dynamics.
- Innately curious and thrives on gleaning insights from data, and able to identify creative opportunities in content and translate these into sharp creative strategies.
- Own and manage processes and reporting with cross-functional partners for tracking and monitoring performance on content creation.
