DiaMedical USA is a fast-growing medical equipment distributor looking to fill a Temporary Warehouse Associate position in our Farmington Hills, MI warehouse for at least 2 months. The Temporary Warehouse Associate will perform tasks involved in the picking, packing, shipping and receiving of products for customer order fulfillment. This role requires operating a pallet jack to conduct some tasks.
Key Responsibilities and other duties as assigned:
- Maintains a clean work environment and adheres to all company safety and safe-working policies and reports any known safety risks or violations to management.
- Locates and picks products to fulfill customer orders.
- Packages products into boxes, bags, or crates and builds pallets for outbound shipments.
- Palletizes and loads products for shipment to ensure products are stacked and arranged properly and securely to avoid damage during shipment.
- Completes inventory and cycle counts for inventory and supplies.
- Maximizes the use of available space in the warehouse by arranging products in a way that maximizes accessibility and organization for improved inventory control.
- Completes production reports and other documents as required.
- Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) and prior relevant Warehouse experience or a combination of 4 years of post-secondary education and/or relevant experience.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse with responsibilities of selecting orders, inventory control, packing and pallet building for outbound shipments a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to operate push carts and pallet jacks.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and overtime as required.
