Job Overview
The Food Service Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities within our establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing food preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in various dining environments, including quick service fast food restaurants and fine dining establishments, and will demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Duties

• Coordinate daily food service operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering and stock management.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, maintaining high standards of food handling.
• Train and supervise staff in proper food service techniques and safety protocols.
• Help develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Manage scheduling for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives aimed at improving service quality.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices.
• Experience in cooking and food preparation across various dining styles, including casual dining and fine dining.

Pay: $40,613.00 - $41,470.00 per year
