About our Director of Philanthropy & Community Engagement
The Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement will lead initiatives to strengthen audiochuck’s social impact and community presence. They will develop and implement philanthropic strategies, including charitable giving, sponsorships, and partnerships with nonprofit organizations, aligning these efforts with audiochuck’s mission and values. This role involves fostering relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure meaningful engagement and visibility.
The Foundation Director will be responsible for:
Develop and Implement Philanthropic Strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive plan for charitable giving, sponsorships, and partnerships that align with the company's values and goals.
Foster Community Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with nonprofits, local organizations, and community leaders to support impactful collaborations.
Manage Philanthropic Budget: Allocate resources effectively to maximize the impact of the company’s community investments.
Lead Internal and External Communication Efforts: Develop messaging and campaigns to highlight the company’s philanthropic efforts across media platforms and to stakeholders.
Measure and Report Impact: Track the outcomes of philanthropic initiatives and community programs and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Organize Fundraising and Sponsorship Events: Plan and execute events that align with the company’s philanthropic goals, fostering engagement and visibility.
Advocate for Employee and Stakeholder Involvement: Encourage a culture of giving and participation in philanthropic and community-focused initiatives within the organization.
Ensure Content & Advocacy Alignment: Work closely with the audiochuck content team to ensure that philanthropy and advocacy initiatives are closely interwoven, set goals and benchmarks for content-based advocacy, and ID and vet programs for potential content-related initiatives.
What you will bring to the table:
Experience in Philanthropy or CSR: 5-10 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, nonprofit leadership, or philanthropic program management.
Strong Media or Communications Background: Prior experience in media, public relations, or marketing to effectively align community initiatives with the company’s messaging and brand.
Proven Success in Partnership Development: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with nonprofits, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
Leadership and Team Management Skills: Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional collaborations to execute large-scale community initiatives.
Budget Management Expertise: Track record of managing philanthropic budgets, including allocating resources and measuring ROI on initiatives.
Event Planning and Execution: Experience planning and managing fundraising, sponsorship, or community engagement events.
Knowledge of Social Impact Metrics: Familiarity with measuring and reporting on the outcomes and effectiveness of philanthropic and community engagement programs.
Excellent Communication and Networking Skills: Strong public speaking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
Passion for Community Engagement and Social Impact: A demonstrated commitment to making a positive difference through philanthropic and community-focused efforts.
Familiarity with Lobbying or Government Relations (not mandatory but a plus!): Familiarity with navigating government processes, building relationships with policymakers, and advocating for initiatives that align with the company’s philanthropic goals.
