About our WordPress Web Designer / Developer :
The WordPress Web Designer / Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining audiochuck’s websites to ensure they align with our brand, enhance user experience, and support our mission to tell impactful stories. This role will collaborate across teams to create digital solutions that captivate and engage our audience.
What You’ll Do :
- Design and maintain visually engaging, user-friendly WordPress websites for audiochuck and its original podcasts while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Ensure website optimization for performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to support podcast launches, campaigns, and digital storytelling initiatives.
- Develop promotional landing pages in accordance with Marketing objectives.
- Assist audiochuck’s production team in maintaining blogs for weekly and seasonal podcasts.
- Implement analytics tools to track user engagement and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on web design trends, WordPress updates, and accessibility standards.
- Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely solutions for updates and improvements.
