About the Project Manager role:
We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Project Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring efficiency, clear communication, and seamless workflow implementation across multiple production schedules with varying formats and other essential projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex projects, driving process improvements to enhance team performance, and delivering high-quality results in a highly deadline-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
Project Management & Coordination:
Manage production schedules and resource allocation for multiple weekly, seasonal, and limited-run shows across both audio and video formats.
Lead ad-hoc projects, as needed, spanning multiple departments, ensuring timely execution and effective cross-team collaboration.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as necessary, to document workflows, improve efficiency, and establish best practices.
Utilize our work management tool, Wrike, to plan & execute projects and manage resources.
Support for Key Positions:
Director of Project Management: Assist in overseeing project operations by tracking high-level status updates, identifying potential roadblocks, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. Help implement project management best practices and optimize workflows.
Project Management Team: Collaborate with fellow project managers handling similar workflows to ensure alignment and drive consistency in project execution.
Other Departments: Continuously support executive management, Content, Marketing, Fan Engagement, and other supporting roles in the execution of their work ensuring strategic alignment and communication.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster strong working relationships across departments to align efforts with broader business objectives.
Facilitate open communication and collaboration to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles.
Process Improvement & Efficiency:
Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and processes to optimize team productivity.
Regularly update and maintain work management tool for transparency and accountability.
What you will bring to the table:
3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a fast-paced environment (knowledge of the media/entertainment industry is a plus)
Proficiency with work management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms).
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
CAPM certification preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of project management principles.
