Medical Office Assistant
Fulltime Position
Salary Commensurate with Experience
Bluffton: Monday - Thursday
Beaufort : Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm, Lunch: 12:00 to 1:00pm
Basic Computer Skills required
Electronic Health records experience a Plus!
Medical Office experience not necessary, but preferred.
Good people skills and communication skills required.
Oracle/Cerner Medical Software program
Word and Excel skills needed.
Podiatric Medical Assistant Certification Program, SCORSA Radiography Certification, will be sponsored by the practice.
Move patients between rooms and assist as needed.
Patient intake: Blood Pressure and History and Physical Information.
Recording and entering patient information to Electronic Health Records.
Assist with minor in office procedures.
Take X-rays.
Maintain, stock and keep clean all examination rooms.
Keep OR/Prep rooms clean and stocked.
Autoclave sterilization of instruments.
Prep Orthotic casting supplies for physicians.
Shipping/receiving of casts and Orthotics to and from lab.
Fitting of Diabetic Shoes.
Assist front desk staff as needed.
