Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Advertising: Develop and implement comprehensive advertising strategies across various platforms, with a primary focus on paid social channels.
- Campaign management: Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize advertising campaigns to ensure maximum visibility, conversion rates, and sales growth.
- Budget allocation: Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation across campaigns and monitoring spend to meet targets.
- Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor campaign performance, generate reports, and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates to the marketing team and company.
- Competitor analysis: Conduct competitive research and analysis to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations to stay ahead of the competition.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keep abreast of industry changes, new features, and emerging technologies in the advertising ecosystem. Implement best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align advertising strategies with overall marketing goals.
- Marketing Strategy and Reporting: Contribute to marketing campaign planning by providing research on key titles, authors, genres, etc. Assist the team with reporting by gathering data from platforms and key databases.
- Internal Project Management: Utilize your proficiency in Slack, email, Airtable, and task management to liaise and integrate with author relations, acquisitions, and production departments. Assist in delivering key campaign materials to partners, such as creative assets, tracking links, copy, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 4 years of paid media experience
- Strong working understanding of the Paid Social platforms, including major players and supporting technology Meta Ads Manager and Tiktok Ads Manager
- Copywriting experience, with a focus on engaging, platform-specific ad content
- Time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Platform knowledge/proficiency: GSuite, Excel, Slack, Airtable, Photoshop (nice to have), Canva, Meta / Business Manager / Ads Manager for all social platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and best practices in digital advertising
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Self-directed, goal-oriented, results-driven personality with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Start-up experience preferred
This is a full-time role with a hybrid schedule. Must be willing to work 3 days/week in office in El Segundo, CA
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Annual Total Compensation Range: 85K - 100K
