We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule transportation for freight shipments, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Utilize various dispatching software systems, Limosys Software and other.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders via phone systems.
- Monitor the status of shipments and provide updates to clients as needed.
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during transportation and implement solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including schedules, routes, and communications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to transportation management.
Qualifications
- Bilingual - English & Spanish as preference.
- Basic Computer Skill.
- Navigation skills ( Knowledge of the local area)
- Proven experience in dispatching or transportation management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management or similar software is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with drivers and clients.
- Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple conversations or tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of freight operations and logistics processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the dispatch team.
