Quality Control Parts Screener

Entry level Quality Control position. This position will train in all aspects of inspection to be available as coverage for when a Batch Inspector is on vacation. Primary responsibility will be sorting and the ability to fill-in for Batch or Final Inspection as needed. Once trained to cover the Batch Inspector position, the pay will increase $1 an hour.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Visually inspect parts for rejects. Sort with the use of go-no go gauges. Work with the Quality Team to resolve inspection questions. Sort rejected parts from good parts maintaining an average of 1,000 parts per hour visually. Count rejects and adjust quantity on batch paperwork. Fill out rejection paperwork. Ensure work area is clean and orderly. Adhere and comply with the company ISO quality program, procedures, and safety and environmental policies.

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to utilize a microscope

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility and adaptability

- Capable of following written, draft and verbal instructions

- In-house training
