Job Description :
PodPlay is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Installation Project Manager to oversee IT / AV hardware installation projects and serve as the primary liaison between our company, customers, and installation contractors. This role involves coordinating project timelines, ensuring that installations are executed smoothly, providing support throughout the installation process, and training customers. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to customer service. This position will report to the Head of Operations and work closely with the IT Manager and Hardware Procurement Manager to ensure smooth coordination of hardware configuration, availability, and delivery for customer installations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the planning and execution of IT hardware installation projects, coordinating with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and contractors, addressing questions and concerns related to the installation process.
- Assist customers in finding local installers when needed and facilitate communication regarding project requirements.
- Track installation progress and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Gather project details from new customers and enter information into internal systems for tracking and documentation.
- Schedule hardware configurations and shipments, ensuring that all equipment is delivered on time for installations.
- Manage hardware vendor relationships and oversee hardware inventory to ensure sufficient stock for upcoming projects and installations.
- Document processes thoroughly to maintain clear records and streamline operations.
