Pay Rate : $21.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time CDL Delivery Driver responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of containers to customer locations. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial truck with specialized lift mechanisms to safely load and unload containers at customer sites.
- Conduct thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its lift mechanisms.
- Handle additional delivery requests as business needs arise.
- Utilize a company-provided handheld device for navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Operate forklifts and / or overhead cranes as necessary.
- Ensure containers are clean and presentable for customer delivery.
- Manage rental agreements and payment transactions directly with customers.
- Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and any issues.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center.
- Provide support for storage center operations when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, ensuring a tidy interior and exterior.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
