Part-Time CDL Driver

Pay Rate : $21.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Part-Time CDL Driver, where you will play a crucial role in the delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. Your commitment to safe driving and excellent customer service will ensure effective and incident-free operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift, meticulously logging findings.
• Be flexible and accept add-on deliveries as necessary to meet business needs.
• Utilize a company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation, enhancing your efficiency.
• Operate forklifts and / or overhead cranes as required.
• Ensure containers are clean and presentable before delivery to customers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payments directly with customers, providing a seamless experience.
• Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues; prepare necessary driver notes.
• Perform field repairs on containers and lifts, as well as maintain the storage center.
• Assist with storage center functions when needed, providing backup support.
• Keep the truck cab clean and free from debris to maintain a professional appearance.
• May take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
