ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Pody & McDonald, PLLC, a small downtown Seattle law firm that specializes in representing condominium and homeowner associations, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least two or three years’ litigation experience and a working knowledge of court rules and procedures. Prefer applicants who are looking to form a long term relationship with partnership opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
· Act as general counsel for community associations in areas including: litigation, fair housing, collections, bankruptcy, corporate governance, contract review, and covenant interpretation, drafting and enforcement.
· Conduct legal research and apply research in analyses in easily understood work product for clients.
· All aspects of civil litigation including motion practice, oral presentation to court, and discovery.
· Prepare correspondence to clients, opposing parties, and court.
· Collaborate and work closely with office staff and attorneys.
· Able to pivot to accommodate multiple and changing priorities.
· Initial responsibilities will depend on experience.
Qualifications
· Excellent organizational, follow up, and calendar management skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail and writing skills.
· Self-motivated with a robust work ethic.
· Interest in providing an outstanding level of customer service and building close client relationships.
· Must be a current member of the Washington State Bar Association in good standing.

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
