Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and be proficient in QuickBooks and general ledger accounting. This role requires an individual who is organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support business planning.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to financial records promptly. -
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, GAAP, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Experience with payroll processing and understanding of payroll regulations.
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
