Precast Driver - Job Description

Job Summary : We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The driver will be responsible for operating vehicles, ensuring proper maintenance, and adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate company vehicles to transport product, material or equipment to designated locations.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled, conducting daily inspections.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery or transport, considering road conditions and traffic.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of product, material, and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, trips, and vehicle inspections.
Follow all local, state, and federal traffic regulations and company policies.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials or items.
Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately to the supervisor.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing courteous and professional service on-time.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Insurable.

Previous driving experience, preferably in a similar role.

Ability to follow navigation and route plans.

Strong time-management skills and on time delivery.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.

Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting or moving goods.

CDL A or B

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 75 lbs

Ability to navigate through tight spaces or difficult driving conditions when required.
