Lane Concierge
Overview
The Lane Concierge serves as the first point of contact for customers arriving for service, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. This role is responsible for guiding customers through the service process, maintaining communication between customers and service advisors, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Engagement
- Greet all service customers upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Direct customers to their assigned service advisor and assist with initial check-in.
- Answer general questions about service procedures, wait times, and dealership amenities.
- Provide a high level of hospitality, ensuring customers feel valued and informed.
Service Lane Management
- Ensure an organized and efficient service drive, directing traffic and maintaining flow.
- Assist with vehicle intake, including securing keys and verifying customer information.
- Communicate vehicle status updates and ensure customers are informed throughout their visit.
- Coordinate with the service team to prioritize customer needs and maintain workflow efficiency.
Administrative Support
- Assist service advisors by gathering necessary information, documents, and signatures from customers.
- Help coordinate transportation options for customers, such as loaner vehicles, shuttle services, or rideshare assistance.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming service lane environment.
- Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to management as needed.
Vehicle Handling & Inspection
- Perform initial vehicle walkarounds to note any pre-existing damage and confirm service requests.
- Ensure vehicles are properly parked, secured, and prepared for service.
- Assist in retrieving completed vehicles for customers upon service completion.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or automotive service is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive services and dealership operations is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
