What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator Cut/Spread/Gerb position at Point Blank Enterprises?
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
- Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production Gerber machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Reads and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
- Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.
