PLY Counter

Key Responsibilities:

1. Verification and Data Accuracy
• Verify that the selected ballistic package is correct and meets production requirements.
• Ensure the ply counter is accurately reading test pieces for extra or missing plies.
• Confirm that the data collection system is correctly capturing and logging ply count information.
2. Ply Counting
• Operate ply counter machinery to count layers of materials (such as paper, fabric, or plastic) efficiently and accurately.
3. Material Inspection
• Inspect materials for any defects, damage, or inconsistencies, and promptly report any issues to the supervisor.
4. Material Preparation
• Ensure materials are properly stacked, organized, and prepared for the next stage of the production process.
5. Communication and Teamwork
• Collaborate with other production staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production goals.
6. Safety Compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Work Area Maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order and ready for use.
