Summary:
The Product Verification Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sample Department in the proper storage and distribution of samples within the company. Additionally, this role involves assisting with various departmental processes, including Product Gateway Review and Sub-Contractor Sample Reviews, among others.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

Verify the accuracy of company products before they are launched to production and/or sub-contractors.

New Product (Gateway):
- Review the new codes checklist document from design to validate information, such as sizing tables, size rules, and other critical data.
- Review new master samples for construction errors.
- Review models and patterns from the Gerber Accu-mark system along with the sample to validate.
- Review Excel product trim sheets with samples and patterns to validate.
- Communicate and work with product designers/developers to review any errors and required corrections.
- Perform a final review to ensure all corrections have been completed.
- Determine if new products are approved for launch and send confirmation approval emails to designers and other teams.

Existing Product:
- Review existing samples for construction errors following the ISO General Quality Criteria.
- Review models and patterns from the Gerber Accu-mark system to validate with samples.
- Review Excel product trim sheets and validate with samples and patterns.
- Communicate and work with product designers/developers to validate the outcome of findings.
- Create and submit an Engineering Change Request (ECR) to address the findings.
- Follow up on the ECR process and confirm changes were made.

Prioritize and track projects based on company needs with respect to the date received.

Fulfill all reports and forms related to Product Gateway, Existing Products, and PPAP processes.

Other Responsibilities:
- Manage samples inventory control and system update processes (Caged Samples).
- Maintain sample inventory and advise the supervisor of any missing samples.
- Work according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Provide support to production for inconsistencies presented during the production process. If necessary, submit ECRs for product inconsistencies.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned by the Supervisor and/or Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Ability to understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status as required by ITAR.
